Conhecido como baixista por acompanhar e excurcionar com nomes como Ithamara Koorax, Dom Um Romão, Eumir Deodato, Luiz Bonfá, Paulo Moura, grupo ZERO, Celso Fonseca e Arthur Maia, dentre muitos outros, Pescara decide, após seu disco de estréia Grooves in the Temple/ Jazz Station Records-Voiceprint records, em 2005, revisar sua carreira e se retira para Lsboa, Portugal, para aprofundar seus estudos musicais.

Com a visão ampliada por influências orientais, estudos de touchstyle, além de outras pesquisas, o músico decide ousar e inovar preparando um álbum com um novo instrumento. Uma mistura de baixo e guitarra, sem ser nenhum deles, mas tocado como se fosse um piano. Em parceria com o produtor e músico alemão Marc Jung, este disco traz uma sonoridade completamente diferenciada.
